The cuteness was out in full force at the Seal Beach Animal Care Center last weekend! And I’m extremely happy to report that two were returned to their owners this week and several more found new homes, including Butters who had been there for too long! :)
First up is Lilly, a sweet girl who actually loves cats! Isn’t her little white forehead stripe cute?
Just look at that posture! What a princess. :)
Then we had little Gracie – don’t you think she looks like she belongs in a movie? Those brown ears slay me!
Gracie’s roommate is Julie, a playful little terrier mix. All she wanted to do was get back to her roomies! I just loved her salt & pepper & cinnamon fur. Looks wiry, but it’s super soft!
And here’s Darjay, a sweetheart of a dog. She’s a boxer/shepherd mix and very huggable.
This is what we’re all about here at Ellingsen Photography – portraits and hugs. I’m thinking of copyrighting that as my slogan. :)
Keeping with the theme of “D” names, here’s Darla! She’s quite the happy cuddler and loves to lean, but she will need to be the only dog in the house.
Even dogs yawn in the bright sunshine. :)
Let’s keep going with “D” names, okay? This is Duke, a new arrival with a super calm energy.
Badger is a loving Boxer mix – and you can see where she got her name! Her facial markings are pretty darn distinctive.
She’s a hugger, too. Of course, all dogs love Sarah. It’s a scientific fact.
And there you have it, fellow rescue dog lovers! Who do you think deserves “Best Smile” this time? Anybody have chronic huggers at home? I know I do!
