You guys, I’m super excited to finally be able to share that I’ve been published in this month’s issue of Dog Fancy!
See the big featured article at the bottom right of the cover? That’s the one where I’m quoted. :) The author, Eve Adamson, contacted me a few months ago and interviewed me about how I include Dante in the holidays. That was an easy thing for me to talk about, of course!
They had asked for some photos, which I gladly sent and promptly forgot about. So imagine my surprise when I turned the page and saw Dante in his reindeer costume! It was a total joke that I found at Target’s Dollar Spot last year – he only wore it for the 2 minutes it took to take that photo. :)
So it’s not exactly a feature on me, but it’s a start! And it’s so amazing to see my work in print (even if it’s not credited, grrr). To read the article (well, at least part of it), click here.
For my fellow dog parents – isn’t it kind of a natural thing to include your pets in the holidays? I mean, Dante has been a part of my Christmas card since I adopted him, and just today I was searching for the perfect bow tie collar. It’s never occurred to me not to include him. What do you guys do? Giant bones to keep them occupied while you open presents?
P.S. I apologize for the terrible scans – it seems my copy lost a lot of its ink while in transit!
