Film Love :: Summer Evenings

I finally got around to developing a roll of Ektar 100 film that I shot all through late last summer, and I have to say it was kind of awesome not even remembering what was on it. (Just try me, I can justify any and all laziness.) :)

But color me happy that there were lots of dreamy summer evenings captured in those shots. With this weekend’s high supposed to be around 100, I’d say it was the perfect time to have these on hand as a reminder that the nights usually do cool off. Who else loves those long, warm summer nights?

Rest assured, I was just waiting for the main dish to come around to me. ;)

The ivy had actually grown through one of the tealight lanterns – so pretty! And my mom can grow tomatoes like they’re going out of style.

I wanted to see what a dog-in-action shot would look like blurred out on film…not sure yet how I feel about the results. This might require several more tests. :)

We have quite a few family and friends coming to visit this summer as well (including family from Norway, yay!), so I’m looking forward to lots more nights like this.
