Five Years of Dante & A Giveaway

Today we’re celebrating Dante’s seventh birthday and also the fifth anniversary of his adoption day! Normally I would share my favorite photos of him from the past year, but because it’s something of a landmark number, I thought I’d share some of my favorites of us actually together from my recent session with Nancy(Scroll down for the giveaway!)

Without Nancy I would have almost none with me in the shot, since I’m always behind the camera. I keep going back to look through these photos, I love them so much! They’re exactly what I had envisioned – she just gets me, man.:)I have yet to decide which one(s) to print, so any opinions are appreciated!

I’m just so darn grateful to have this snuggly bundle of endless love. Last year I wrote a bit about what having him in my life has done for my personal growth (and I also explain why his birthday and adoption day are the same), click here to read that. Tonight, we’re celebrating with a special salt-free beef patty from In-N-Out for the birthday boy and lots of snuggles!

So, in order to celebrate how awesome it is being the mama of a rescued pup, today I’m sharing the love by giving away this awesome travel mug. I have one myself and love it! It’s ceramic and the lid is silicone so you can throw it all in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. I love using it at coffee shops because it always starts a conversation with the people behind the counter (and because you save a paper cup, obvs).:)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and good luck!

I love the fact that even though our older dogs have passed, I still have 4 options for 4-legged walking companions!

If the cup is approved by Dante, does that mean he peed on it?
It’s hard to tell you which picture is best because you don’t have them numbered or anything but I like the one that saves as Trude & Dante 10 the best. You have such a light-up smile. :-)

Love you!

I don’t have a dog but I love my boyfriends rescued dog. She’s a long haired German Shepard and gets alot of compliments when we take her for a walk.

Happy Birthday, Dante! For the photos, I love the third from the bottom, of course, and the last two that are diptych-ed together. Totally worth framing!!

I will refrain from entering the giveaway since I don’t have a pet, but wish luck to everyone else who does :)

Happy birthday, Dante! The photos are all beautiful!!! What I love about my IG is that I feel like I am the one who was rescued. I have a chronic disease and he is always there to lend a paw, a warm body to hug, and a shoulder, although small, to cry on. He always knows when I am sick, and sometimes even knows before I get sick. He will sit in front of me as if to guard me, but only does this when I am ill. I love my boy <3

Such beautiful pix of you and Dante! I also consider my Max’s adoption date as his official birthday. What I love about him most, besides his loving nature, is that he constantly surprises me when I mistakenly underestimate him and he definitely keeps me laughing.
Max and I wish Dante a very Happy Birthday and many more to come.

I love the first photograph! Dante has a fabulous “yeah, my mama loves me” look on his face. I don’t have a rescue dog but I have two rescue cats that are each terribly different but both think they own me instead of the other way around. I have been around lots of rescue dogs and would love to get my own in the future.

Happy Birthday and Gotcha Day Dante:) They are all glorious photos Trude! Personally I’d print up the first one. In most of the others you kind of take the limelight … and that’s a compliment:) But in the top one Dante has got a cute little grin on his face and I think that’s the best photo of him. JMHO:) And don’t enter me in the draw for the lovely mug, I’d probably win and postage to New Zealand would be horrendous!!
